Priorities

Nothing is more important than the success of our students and district. As a board member for a district serving over 17,000 students, my top priority remains making decisions that benefit students today and for years to come. With no other agenda but to ensure their success, I am committed to taking steps that will help ALL students & our district thrive.

My priorities include:

Supporting Lakota’s mission statement that “Everything WE do is designed to provide a future-ready, student-centered learning experience for every single child.”
Continuing to offer opportunities to meet all students where they are in order to prepare them for their future
Respecting teachers, staff members and administrators by providing them with the tools & support they need
Attending events and Community Conversations so I can remain accountable to all stakeholders
Striving to maintain a collaborative relationship with my fellow board members and the district’s administrative team to provide effective governance
Evaluating all decisions with the goal of continuing to have a district that WE can all be proud of
